Big Five Bush Safaris

While wildlife is the focus of any safari...a safari will usually also include other memorable events, such as encounters with local people and our culture, wildlife encounters, bird sightings etc.

The distant sounds of wildlife and the call of bird songs makes Botswana a land of natural beauty where you will rise to begin a new adventure everyday of your journey with us.

We value our clients and we know how to create a memorable experience for them. We work endlessly behind the scenes to ensure every safari activity is a success.

With The Big Five Bush Safaris, you will have a great opportunity to learn more about African culture, the Big Five family and safari lifestyle on a holiday sleeping under canvas in the bush.

OUR SAFARIS

Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta – a true natural wonder in the middle of the Kalahari Desert and the best way to experience it is on a traditional dug-out canoe, known locally as a mokoro..

Moremi Game Reserve

Renowned for big game the Moremi Game Reserve offers up close and personal encounters. Bird life in the delta and dry land areas is also excellent.

Khwai

Khwai is renowned for offering excellent leopard sightings as well as wild dog. Elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, zebra and hyena are ever present.

Chief’s Island

Chief’s Island is particularly famous for its predators. Its far-reaching floodplains and diverse habitats attract high concentrations of animals and the island is home to some of Botswana’s most diverse wildlife

Jao Reserve

This wetland area is home to sitatunga and red lechwe antelopes, as well as lion, leopard, wildebeest, elephant, zebra and many more. Birdlife such as fish eagle, wattled crane, saddle billed stork, egret and African skimmer can also be found in the Jao Reserve.

Vumbura Concession

The area is home to Botswana's largest concentration of buffalo. As many African's know, where there's buffalo there is certain to be lions not far behind. The Kaparota Lagoon is spectacular at sunset, when herd after herd of elephant come to drink, moving their feet to create waves that keep crocodiles at bay.
